Generous Donation

   Just picked up a van load and back seat stuffed with costumes from Imbler high School. They are a small school and do not have a drama department. The students choose to do track in the spring and there are not enough students to do a production.
   I will give the green army uniforms to Elgin Opera House for 'White Christmas'. I gave about 6 boxen, (boxes, plural of ox) to People Helping People of old sweat shirts, big flower dresses, jackets, etc. I will give the water damaged and moth eaten clothing to Jeri Mackley for the Haunted House.
   Any costumes with 2 or more, like the black/white cheerleader tops, matching blue gingham dresses and black metallic alien mini skirts & mini collars to LHS.
   Some of the costumes need repairs and they all need a wash. They have been sitting in the costume closet unused for several years. I am thankful for them and delighted to add them to our collections! There are several dresses we can use for 'White Christmas', some skirts for Fiddler and some dresses for upcoming LHS productions.

Hats, Hats, Glorious Hats

I have several types of hats, some Hello Dolly hats,  some Titanic hats and even some shawls to go with the hats.  Mom, my sistahs and I are the models for the lovely hats!

Bear costume

I was asked if I have any bear costumes.
I have Baloo the Bear. It is an extra large. It has grey ankle high slippers, gloves, a hood, and nose. It is padded so it has girth. It is made of fleece so it is very warm.
I would wear a neck cooler and drink lotsa water if I were in it when it is hot.

Reader's Theatre

What a marvelous group! The black/white checkered blouse is mine on Chris in the center. The hat on Rosala is mine. And Rachael's blouse second from left.

Victorian/Titanic Skirt and Blouse

Blue lace skirt and top. I love the vee design on the bottom.
I found these at a yard sale from the Eastern Star ladies.
I have three sets in different sizes, Med, L & XL.
The top has a cotton vest under neath.
There is a matching sash that covers the elastic waist that can be ties at the side or back.
Very nice outfit.

Cream colored dress with hat

 Here are a few made over dresses to fit the Titanic era.
The cream lacy dress is a sz small.We can add gloves and jewelry.
The red dress is a size large, it has a sheer train in back. It needs glooves an jewelry too.
 I made the rust colored skirt and top from a velvet bedspread I found at a yard sale. I added the peach cravat and lace to the top. I t also has peach lace gloves, sz L
I am making over the  pale blue night gown and  white dress. I want to add a  dark blue skirt and sash and put dark blue piping around the vee neck collar to match a photo I saw on line.

Arsenic and Old Lace

I helped with a couple of items for the high school play Arsenic and Old Lace.
They used:
a black ruffled top
a black hat
2 veils
a black taffeta skirt with 2 ruffles on the back
2 black lace shawls with fringe
4 Billie clubs, 4 silver police badges
The students did their own costumes and make up. Adults assisted with items the students didn't have.
