Women in Business ad

This is the ad we will put in the paper this year for the business. What do you think? Does it make me look phat?

Women in Business

Karen Kevan 1511 W Ave. La Grande 541-962-7175

Karen’s Costume Collection features about 700 costumes for adults & 40 costumes for youth age 5 & up; prices range from $20 to $30 for adults and $10- $15 for youth. The small shop has the usual Halloween apparel, some vintage clothing and a few cultural clothing items as well. Customers can mix and match to create their own style.

Karen has made costumes for a couple of high School plays, the Elgin Opera House, and the Portland Opera when they come to town in the spring. Friends have donated unusual, one of a kind & fun clothing.

New this year is a blog site with photos of the costumes. Please look at the website so you know what kind of apparel is available. http://karenscostumes.blogspot.com/ You can also email for a photo. kevans@eoni.com The room in Karen’s basement is open year round. The hours are by appointment since it is in her home, so please call 541-962-7175 to reserve your costume today!

Golden Outfits

I have had a request for gold outfits to match a gold mask so here is my collection. The gold dancer is a peasant top with skirt with elastic waist and black coin vest.
This is a gold Egyptian dress, sz XL.
The golden pantsuit is very nice with black sequins down one side, padded shoulders and black pants.
The golden robe could be for a King or queen. We used it in Aladdin for the King, sz med, it looks like a design from India, it has side slits.
Please click on the photos for details.

White Knight

I finished the white Knight! ta da
It goes with the black knight,
(see costume collage photos above)
both are sz L/XL.
Look out Monty Python!

Jailbird Orange

This is the Jailbird costume, a jumpsuit, a onesie (one size fits all) zipper is in front. It is sleeveless and I added an orange Beaver tee shirt under it, if you want that option. Your choice of handcuffs.

Fairies, Tutus and slips (oh my)

Fairies
Blue leotard – sz XL
Purple leotard – sz. 14
Olive green – (prom dress I tried dying for a Tinker Belle, so now it is a Gothic fairy…sigh) sz 11

Full slips (tutu look) - the slips with no size have elastic waists so they adjust to about any size
2 black
1 blue
1 pale blue – sz med (would make a good Alice costume)
1 purple – torn, so it looks gothic…
2 white
I have some wings.
I suggest going to the Faerie Beads store on 1102 Adams, (by Domino Pizza) they have fingerless gloves in different colors, Faerie crowns, pointed ears & Faerie wands. 541-786-1322
