People give me clothing and some I can use & some I trade. I trade to a dealer in SLC, UT.
He gives me credit or cash. I always take the credit.
For instance last week I had retail $300 for the items I took to him. I could have $150 credit or $100 cash. I got the credit!
I traded for 3 white pillbox hats with netting (a costume renter needs a hat for a wedding and I thought these might work), a muslin pirate shirt with lace on the neck line and sleeves, sz XL, a grey kimono jacket, a white flower lace long dressing gown (for a Titanic over jacket costume) and a $19 credit!
The owner said hats are selling like crazy after the "wedding". He asked what show I was doing. I replied 'Titanic". EOU is doing the musical in 2012 so I figured I would have more Titanic rentals.
