Pirates of Penzance was a fun costume challenge. There were 21 in the cast with 13 costume changes. I sewed 2 new dresses and redid 7. We borrowed the night gowns and police jackets from Denise Wheeler. What a life saver! Mrs. Wright sewed a pirate shirt & Maureen O'Brien sewed a dress.
Three pirates were added to the show and then one more. The last pirate had to wear what was left. (which we didn't end up using, but I will finish sewing it and use it for a rental)Unca Chris took the photos, he has a marvelous camera.
